Cottondale Swamp is a Florida Swamp Rock, Southern Americana, and Outlaw Country Band from Florida. Weeki Wachee, FL is our ground zero. Mermaid Shows and the Gulf of Mexico! Original Florida swamp rock with authentic country sensibilities a the heart of rock 'n roll.

Cottondale Swamp celebrates the back roads, small towns and the seedy underbelly of the “Old Florida” that is fast disappearing. We write songs that celebrate the people, places and uniqueness of our southern most state.

New Cottondale Swamps Shows!

April 13th @ The New World Brewery / Tampa, FL

Brokenmold Entertainment Presents  - The Underhill Family Orchestra / Band of Sorrows / Cottondale Swamp

The Underhill Family Orchestra - A harmonious group of crazies from the Alabama Delta, The Underhill Family are known for their face paint-wearin', arm-swingin', foot-stomping', aggressively catchy take on southern pop and their spirited live performances. Moonlighting in cities across the us for the last 6 years, from Denver to Pittsburgh to Austin to Orlando, the Orchestra has crafted two albums (This Is... 2011 & Stories of Appalachia Proper 2014) documenting their unique sound and take on american music.
Band of Sorrows - Sounding like the result of a whiskey soaked tryst between Merle and Steve Earle, Band of Sorrows offers up songs about the Southern human condition.
Cottondale Swamp - Florida based Swamp Rock and Southern Americana band. Weeki Wachee, FL is our ground zero. Mermaid Shows and the Gulf of Mexico, it doesn't get anymore "Old Florida" than that. Cottondale Swamp celebrates the back roads, small towns and the seedy underbelly of Florida. We write songs that celebrate the people, places and uniqueness of our southern most state.

May 13th @ Hideaway Cafe and Recording Studio / St. Petersburg, FL

Cottondale Swamp
returns to the Hideaway Cafe for the 3rd time! The Hideaway, our favorite listening room in Florida... and Florida is a big state! This is the place to really experience the band and the music to the fullest. This room is so comfortable and the sound is so good. Plus, there is an intimacy the venue creates to make for a great show.

The Broken String Fling - What a pickin' party!

We had an absolute blast at the Broken String Fling last Saturday night! A weekend of camping and pickin' with serious music lovers. This festival is getting bigger every year and there is a really cool community of music lovers and supporters connected with the Sertoma Youth Ranch.

Our set was scorching, if I do say so myself. We met lots of new friends and fans and we really look forward to playing the festival again next year! Big thanks to Bobbie Dusenberry for inviting Cottondale Swamp and for putting on this festival for the last 10 years.

We also shared the stage with our favorite Celtic band - Whiskey Dregs . Not only did they play an awesome set, they had a huge variety of Whiskey and Rye to share... oh, my aching head, but it was worth it!
